Theme Parkology presents a fantastic documentary on the world’s most loved ever conscience cricket, Jiminy Cricket.

In 1940, Walt Disney introduced an animated classic based on an original 1881 tale by Italian writer Carlo Collodi entitled, Pinocchio. This timeless story introduced a cricket who made efforts to guide Pinocchio down the right path and soon became the world’s tiniest heroes, his name is Jiminy Cricket.

Jiminy Cricket was originally voiced by ukulele player, Cliff Edwards, most noticed for his famous song, Singing in the Rain, until his passing in which the tiny top hat and umbrella was passed on to the very talented, Eddie Carroll. Join Theme Parkology as Eddie Carroll shares a rare interview about his role as the conscience cricket trough films, television series, video games and so much more.

Sadly, Mr. Carroll passed on in 2010, but his memory lives on within this uplifting documentary on Eddie’s life as a one man stand up comedian and as the world’s famous cricket.

Aside from a 45 minute documentary of Jiminy Cricket, Eddie Carroll is seen impersonation Jack Benny in a rare performance on the bonus track. This is a rare treat for all fans that love and cherish all things Disney.
