Building on the incredible response to Theme Parkology Digest

#1, which explored our Pirates of the Caribbean documentary and

celebrated illustrator Travis Hanson—I am thrilled to announce

that Issue #2 is officially in the works!

Our upcoming issue turns the spotlight on Theme Parkology’s

classic documentary on the classic Autopia attraction and pays

tribute to legendary Disney Imagineer Terri Hardin. Alongside

these features, we sit down for a fascinating interview with

Cindi Rose, who spent years crafting delicate silhouettes for guests at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Cindi shares behind-the-scenes stories about landing the role, Disney’s legendary standard of keeping a smile on your face all day long, her fondest park memories, and how a short-lived modeling career earned her a SAG-AFTRA card.

We are also excited to feature an enchanting interview with Gina Rock, the performer who dazzled thousands by flying across the night sky above Disneyland as Tinker Bell. Gina opens up about her journey from circus entertainer to Disney’s iconic flying pixie.

Rounding out the issue, I’m putting together a brand-new "Notepad" recap from a recent Theme Parkology event, as well as a comprehensive feature on the amazing Theme Parkology’s Trading Cards. The history of the trading card line is a long, winding tale, but I’m shaping it into a cohesive, deep-dive article that long-time collectors won't want to miss.

 

Production is well underway, and I expect to wrap up editing very soon.
