Our latest project turns the spotlight on the multi-generational, miracle-blessed family that captured hearts worldwide in Disney's Encanto. This fantastic endeavor doesn't just scratch the surface; it explores the whimsical history of the animated film from every angle.

We are digging deep into the elements that made the movie a modern classic:

A Chance Encounter with Disney Royalty
 

The heart of this upcoming release traces back to last year’s Mouse-Con event. It was there that I had the absolute pleasure of meeting singer and actress Adassa, the powerhouse talent who brought the ultra-hearing, secret-keeping Dolores Madrigal to life.Let me tell you: Adassa is every bit as sweet, warm, and charming as the character she portrays.
 

When I asked if she would be interested in sitting down for an interview with Theme Parkology, she was more than happy to oblige. A few short weeks later, we connected over Zoom for a conversation that exceeded all expectations.
 

Adassa opened up about her incredible journey, sharing details about her music career and the fascinating story of how she landed the role of Dolores. She dove deep into Dolores’s unique personality, giving us a masterclass in how she crafted those iconic squeaks and hushed tones. And yes—for all the music lovers out there—she even sang a bit for us!

Bringing the Vision to Life
 

Right now, the project is alive in the editing bay. I am incredibly fortunate to have the valued editing assistance of Danny Hemstalk on this release. Danny took the script I wrote and meticulously laid out the perfect visual roadmap, ensuring every beat of the documentary hits with maximum emotional impact.
 

The cover art is fully designed, and I am aiming to get the inked discs ordered within the coming weeks.
