Known as "The Highway in the Sky", the Disneyland Monorail was the first transportation system of its kind in America based on a system built by the ALWEG company and discovered by Walt Disney while traveling in Germany. The Monorial is an approximate 13-minute round trip ride available to board inside the park in Tomorrowland or just outside the park in Downtown Disney. The scenery is outstanding as you enjoy views of Tomorrowland and Fantasyland while traveling though Disneyland and Grizzly Peak, Buena Vista Street and more while your journey past Disney California Adventure Park.
