THE SINGERS: When I started asking around if any of my friends would like to donate their time and singing talent for the Singing with Friends charity CD each one, without hesitation, said yes. The were more than happy to sign up for this amazing project.
I would like to introduce them all to you.
I had the good fortune of meeting Butch a few years ago on Facebook. We both have a love and interest in the world of theme parks and music.
I had just came up with the idea of producing a music CD when I came across Butch singing one of his original songs. I was very impressed and quickly asked him if he would be interested in singing on my disc. Without a thought he said, "Of course."
HIGHLIGHTS: Butch is an amazing singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. He is currently producing an animated musical film called, William and the Werewolf, and is co-writing family friendly screenplays for future animated shorts.
I meet Elvis, I mean, Peter Alden through Krista Joy who manages his shows. Now I know that there are a lot of Elvis impersonators out there, but Peter's rendition of Elvis' song are simply stunning. It's like watching "The King" in person.
When I asked him if he would sing on my disc he said, "I would be more than happy to do it." Peter will be sing a fantastic knee-slapping, hip swaying, toe-tapping song that I know you will all love and enjoy.
HIGHLIGHTS: Peter has tours across the country including Wales, Beijing, Mexico, Singapore, Vancouver, and Puerto Rico. His “voice like velvet” vocals can be heard on several of his impressive albums.
While scouring the many pages of Facebook one night, I came across the impressive works of Krista Joy. After friending her we became best buddies.
We have since collaborated on several projects including DVDs, audio CDs, and for awhile I was the co-host of Krista's podcast Living the Dream Podcast. When I decided to record this charity CD I knew it wouldn't be complete without her lending her voice.

I meet Jayme at On Your Toes dance studio. My daughter was taking several classes there and soon became good friends with Jayme.
When I started mapping out the singers for this project I recalled Jayme's talent and ask if she would consider playing and singing on it. She said that she would loved to. Weeks later I asked if she could send me a test track of a specific song and... OMG! She nailed it.
HIGHLIGHTS: Jayme performs often as a tap and Jazz dancer for her dance studio and has sang at various school talent show. She has performed at Disney-land and on Broadway in New York.
One sleepless night a while back stumble upon Hailey's Facebook page. I was mesmerized by her charming voice. I quickly friended her and we have been great friends ever since.
When this music CD started to blossom I knew I had to have Hailey on the disc. I asked her if she would be interested and to my surprise she said that she would love to.
HIGHLIGHTS: Not only is Hailey a fantastic singer, but she has puppeteered for Universal Studios, has been a performer at Walt Disney World, including playing the role of a Disney Princess, and models for various magazines, which include the back cover of Theme Parkology's E-Magazine issue number one.
One day while chatting with Andrew about the CD he mentioned that his wife, Veronica, sings really good. I must admit I was a little skeptical. He soon forward me a link to her singing Breakeven and I was blown away by her talents.
A few days later while chatting with Andrew he stated, "Oh, by the way, my wife said she would love to sing on your CD." After a few days of thinking I told Andrew what song that I wanted her to sing. It's a tough song originally sung by one of my favorite artist, but I think she could nail it.
HIGHLIGHTS: Veronica is a singer, actress, songwriter, model, voice over artist, and photographer, and has even contributed to the making of the Star Wars franchise.
I guess it is true that people do meet people at night online. That's sort of how I meet Amanda (my night, her day). I came across a cover by Amanda one night on Facebook. Her voice was very unique .
I soon friended her and told her about the project and she agreed to sing on the disc. The next day I suggest a song for her to test out. The next day she sent me her test and it was AMAZING!
HIGHLIGHTS: Amanda resides in Scotland and tours all around the area, stopping at the port city of Glasgow where she performs for over 5,000 people. She also DJs for 3Tfm 103.1 FM at http://www.3tfm.org.uk/ and will be recording her debut album this year.
While I was getting things ready for this charity CD, my friend Don mentioned that he knew someone who was a fantastic singer. He connected the dots and within a few short days the talented Justine Willis agreed to be on the disc.
She was so excited that she recorded a rendition of All This Time (by Tiffany) and sent it to me for the ten Heartbreak CD. I can honestly say she is sooooo talented.
HIGHLIGHTS: Justine is a Singer, Songwriter, and Musician. She is the lead singer for the band Heat Seekers and performs all over California. Her Rhythm and Blues style is simply astonishing and her rendition of Prince's famed ballad Purple Rain is heart breaking.
I met Ivy in an unusual way. I happened to be up late one night going through my Facebook page and I came upon Ivy Rose's cover of I Can't Help Falling In Love With You. It nearly had me in tears. I knew I had to have her on my CD.
I quickly got a hold of her and to my surprise she not only responded quickly, but agreed to be on the charity disc. You guys are really in for a rare treat. If you haven't heard her cover I strongly urge you to do so.
